This bag, made by Randi, is currently in an Art and Technology exhibit at OSU.  She documented the bag's construction, made a photoshop collage of the process, and then sewed the image onto the face of the bag.  The body of the bag is made from a new vinyl we've recently acquired.  It's very shiny, like patent leather, but it's much easier to work with.  She also has photoshopped herself into a Cyborg.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         


Kate Black sent me two large, fantastic pieces of patent leather.  I made her a bag to show my appreciation.

It's cold, and we just got about fifteen inches of snow.  About this time of year, I start to feel like winter is an overprotective parent that won't let me stay out past midnight.  The snow is lovely, but I've got shit to do.  As a consequence of all this nasty weather, my desire to make it outside to my workspace is less and less.  I've been in my house, crocheting Pansies and having tea parties.



I finally finished this (after about a year), and now I'm working on an afghan.  Historically, I've always hated afghans, and thought they were ugly.  I've recently changed my mind.
