Kate Black sent me two large, fantastic pieces of patent leather. I made her a bag to show my appreciation.
It's cold, and we just got about fifteen inches of snow. About this time of year, I start to feel like winter is an overprotective parent that won't let me stay out past midnight. The snow is lovely, but I've got shit to do. As a consequence of all this nasty weather, my desire to make it outside to my workspace is less and less. I've been in my house, crocheting Pansies and having tea parties.
I finally finished this (after about a year), and now I'm working on an afghan. Historically, I've always hated afghans, and thought they were ugly. I've recently changed my mind.
Randi got this shirt from the most fabulous and fantastic Carla, of Supastarr. She loves it, wears it all the time. You should go buy one right now.
It's going to be snowing soon, and I'm nervous that I haven't gotten enough done when the weather was nice. I see jobs in every room of my house, and shit that needs done outside, too. It's causing me anxiety.
I made a Naugahyde dog bed today for Tilly, my elderly and moldy English Bulldog. It had to be Naugahyde because she has a tendency to pee on her dog bed.
This is Tilly.
Randi made this messenger. It's constructed from black-bronze vinyl with flame appliqués.The bag below it is a custom order I'm working on.
This is the first in Randi's new "Purses of Pain and Misery Series". It's pink and red vinyl. Randi's got a whole bunch like this planned.
These are a couple of bags we made the last two days. I made the top, Randi made the bottom.
I gave my husband this CD for Father's Day. I gave it to him early because I was so excited. He had the album when it came out, but it was lost.
Jello Biafra sounds like Sponge Bob.
There's a big sale at JoAnn's starting tomorrow. You better go.
